Yoga has many different forms. Some versions are better suited to certain individuals than others. It comes down to your own personal choice at the end of the day, which type of Yoga you prefer.

There is a main thread to all types of Yoga. All the many styles of yoga will invariably aim to bring about a serene feeling as well as achieving an overall balance in the mind and body. In the majority of cases, Yoga will also help you to increase flexibility and improve fitness levels at the same time.

Yoga for beginners is a stage where everyone starts their journey into the wonderful world of Yoga. You in the beginning start out in Yoga as a beginner and progress upwards till you become a master in the art.

I call it an art as Yoga for beginners is about a combination of exercise combined with meditation and thus it is much more than just running on a treadmill or lifting several weights. In fact the exercisers associated with Yoga are not in the sense traditional, you don't have to go down to the gym but I would recommend those of you newbies to go to a certified teacher to begin with. Exercises require control and balance, plus controlled breathing as opposed to strength and speed, or aerobic type training.
